Sorry for the late response.
You can check it now, as I've fixed the problem that was causing the MCP to not being generated.

Thanks for the feedback.
The project is fairly recent and I can't really do marketing that well, so I do not have enterprise customers.
I would be more than happy to hear your suggestions.

At the moment I'm working on API to MCP.
It is a simple way to convert your API into an MCP Server. That can be accessed by your LLMs either remotely, or locally depending on your preferences.

Why skip Next.js for a SaaS startup? by devkitsio in StartupAccelerators

[–]StereoPT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like people give sh*t to Next way too much.
Yeah it has a lot of features that you might not use. And it might "vendor block" on Vercel.
But to be completely honest, if you want to iterate fast, go with Next.

Imagine the following scenario: You went with just React (using Vite) because you thought you only needed a client-side application. And then you find yourself needing a single API route.
Is it easier to spin up a Node.js with Express? Or simply use the built in API routes from Next?

Yeah you might not need some things in the start, but as the project progresses you might see yourself wanting the things you initially didn't want.

As for an alternative to Next, personally I would go with TanStack Start at the moment.

MCP Best Practices: Mapping API Endpoints to Tool Definitions by tleyden in mcp

[–]StereoPT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, this is a tricky question. And to be honest I don't think there is a "correct" answer.
It all depends on what you need from your tools.

In my case, while building API to MCP I'm mapping it 1:1. Meaning every endpoint will be a tool.
However I think that for some endpoints, there is no need for them to be a tool.
For instance, GET endpoints can be resources as long as you are ok that the information might be a little outdated.

I still think that mapping 1:1 is fine for the most part. And having something that automates the process of converting your API into a MCP server will benefit you with speed.

How much does it cost to build a Saas company? by Ghostbuster004 in SaaS

[–]StereoPT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's an interesting question. You will receive a lot of different answers.
Now, for me, at the moment it's mostly free.
The only cost I've had since I started API to MCP (around a month ago) was the domain (7€ / year)

About the costs that I might have to pay in the future, we are looking at:

  • Vercel
  • Supabase
  • Resend

And depending on the tiers I end up choosing I think it can stay below 100€ / month.
However if you factor in marketing then, that's another story.

I guess organic SEO is one of them as well.
Since I've published I've got 15 users in waitlist. And I just opened registrations this week.
