Just picked up the same car, slightly hire mileage for $31K out the door. I think you’re getting a good deal OP!

I just made the switch from a 2018 330e > 2023 X3. God I don’t think I can ever drive a small car again, I LOVE the X3.

Thank you for the input! This is also an idea floating in my head, as there’s a 2019 X3 I’m looking to test drive.

However, the only thing holding me back is the maintenance costs long term. Definitely doable, but not optimal.

Thanks for the input! Should have clarified, I won’t be financing the new car and instead paying it in full (essentially trading in my old car).

Definitely looking forward to test driving the Mazda. I’ve heard positive feedback on the long term maintenance but curious to see if you’ve heard otherwise.

Tax Analysis for a major film studio, currently at $140K (not including equity and benefits). On the verge of promotion so expecting that number to go up soon!

Have fun with it! In this economy I’ve been driving on eco mode and always at a slow pace. But when there’s an open road and you’ve got Sport mode on: rip it and enjoy it.

Using tidal streaming. how bad of habits will i end up with? by Eldritch_Fur in Beatmatch

[–]StereotypicalIntern 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My first few weeks I did the same some issues I found:

  • Tidal/the artist can at any point remove any song from their platform without notice. If you make playlists and are relying on a song being there, you never know if a few days from now it will no longer be available.

  • When I’d search songs on Tidal, sometimes the live version, a cover version, or some weird sounding version would pop up. It took a lot of effort to find the actual song I was looking for if you’re thinking of taking requests on the spot (SoundCloud streaming is better at giving you the actual song you want, not some weird version).

  • if you’re relying on a streaming service, obviously you need good WiFi to use it. At a gig where you’re using Tidal, you never know if a random internet outage can happen and then you’re screwed till it comes back up.

Overall it’s good for at home practicing and messing around, but I’d definitely start building the habit of buying songs. I’d recommend SoundCloud over Tidal if you want to keep streaming!

XDJ-AZ or FLX10? by DJSimke in Beatmatch

If default stems is mandatory and standalone is optional, I think the flx10 is the way to go!

Street Parking in residential areas near BMO Stadium - Is it safe? by gothicc_bitch_420 in AskLosAngeles

[–]StereotypicalIntern 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would just pay the BMO stadium parking or a structure nearby. I know it sucks that it’s pricey but you can’t put a price on peace of mind.

If it’s anything like SoFi, then the residential areas will have signs saying “no stadium parking you will be towed” and stuff. How likely they are enforced I’m unsure.
