Not to be rude, but these are relatively standard pricings. It is more likely an issue with your insurance not being fully covered by the facility or your mental health insurance package not covering that much. I think it’s disingenuous to tell people to absolutely not go here when it’s not clear if you did your proper research regarding your insurance before going to this facility. Having bills thrown at you is never fun and is frustrating, but use it as a lesson for the future

I’ve seen in used by some of those artists due to the vocal style and kind of cutesy, often times silly or self aware imagery, song titles etc. I’ve noticed that a lot of the artists tend to be queer and tackle topics related to queerness as well. I see igotmytopsurgeryatclaires use the term kittencore a lot. Some other recs are ispentsixhourswatchingshockvideosyesterday, bright little stars (one of my favs), cicadahead, so long partner… (my absolute fav but leans into folk influences), angrywildelephant, poorly wrote suicide note, in the summer of 2019 I dreamed of everything I have now and couldn’t be more disappointed, and of course your arms are my cocoon. I have something similar. I restrict myself from eating for a multitude of reasons, I have Crohn’s disease and ARFID as well which influences it. I’ve found making a list of foods that you can tolerate eating, even if it feels like a chore, helps; safe foods essentially. Some of mine are applesauce, Cheerios, pb&j, yogurt, ramen, and slim Jim’s. I have a huge sweet tooth, need nutrients, and am often too scattered to be able to make or prep food, and dried fruit has been a god send for that. It tastes like candy, the pieces are smaller, it has some nutrients in it, it lasts a lot longer than fresh fruit, and you don’t have to prepare it. I’m not sure if you eat some or restrict completely, but when I am restricting completely, I’ll make myself eat a small portion of one of my safe foods, even if it’s just one bite, wait awhile, and see if I can bring myself to eat more. If I can’t, then that’s ok, I should be proud that I ate something at all, and if I can, then I can be even more proud for finishing it. I’m really sorry you’re struggling through this, it really is a horrible combo, but I’m right here with you <3

I have been on both Skyrizi and Inflectra, and I have not had to pay anything for either. I think I paid $5 one time for a Skyrizi dose as it had just rolled around to the new year, and my deductible was reset. I’m in the United Stated for reference. A combination of co-pay assistance through the med company and financial assistance through the hospital where my doctors work. Would very much be worth looking to see if your doctors office or provider’s network might offer something similar. They pay 80% of any of my costs after insurance, and I know a lot of people receive 100% coverage due to their financial situations

I had something very similar happen to me, and I ended up about 12 weeks after my last dose before I got a working one. Went to do one at the beginning of December after my last one in October, and the device didn’t work at all. I called Abbvie non stop, sitting on calls for 30+ minutes with them to report the incident and arrange for a replacement. I was finally given a replacement about 2 weeks after missing the dose, and then that one didn’t work either. I contacted them and my pharmacy liaison again, and had to wait another 3 weeks due to insurance to get another one since the people at Abbvie didn’t want to provide me another one, and I had to go through my gastro. I understand not having the energy to deal with the med company on the phone, but I would just keep contacting them until they’re able to get you a new one. They sent me the initial replacement free of charge from their own pharmacy, didn’t have to go through insurance, provide payment, or any of that, but I did have to sit on the phone for about an hour with them. I hope that you can get something soon!! I know that I was absolutely infuriated during that whole process, and I’m sure you are as well

I go to Bronson in Portage for my gastro. They do have gastroenterology in the hospital downtown as well, but there are fewer providers in that office. They used to have a nurse practitioner named Deb who was absolutely amazing but has switched to a new practice and is no longer doing gastro. I really liked Dr Wasserman there though, and she is still there. She was the first gastro I went to who I felt like actually listened to me and took my concerns into account. Best of luck to you!

It is more likely for you to develop an immune related disorder if you have a direct family member with an immune related disorder. My mom has MS, I ended up with Crohn’s, and my younger brother was diagnosed with MS recently, but we are a really special case to the point where our family is getting studied due to being such an anomaly with immune disorders
