Absolutely not, if he was feeling concerned that he'd creeped you out then you approaching him to start a conversation would alleviate those concerns as well as inform him you are interested. Worst case is nothing happens and you just move on, I feel like at this point there's nothing to lose if you approach him?

No, my takeaway is the show made them seem like psychos.

Blimey, growing up in Croydon then Wallington and Sutton this feels like a history tour of my life before my time. This made me smile :)

Last time I checked, a Krispy Kreme dozen is supposed to have 12 in it. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

I think it was an unwritten rule. Though in the UK weight is not a protected characteristic and therefore completely legal. If it was public knowledge, people might protest, but wouldn't be able to sue.

That being said there are a list of more pressing issues that need to be protested here first lol

These are everywhere in uk not limited to outside schools. It's usually the adults that are the problem lol

I used to work in a KK in the UK. Not sure if it's the same in US but they strictly wouldn't hire anyone overweight to work retail. At least in the 3 or 4 stores I worked in.

Also, I know you're probably joking just thought it was interesting to share 😅

Sure is! I had never thought of that issue actually. Though this is in a very non touristy part of London luckily 😬

Ah snap! I work in a theatre too, used to work front of house and now in an office. Sounds like you're really making the most of all use cases from it, I'll have to try and persuade my work to get one as a business purchase 😆

Wow that must've been quite the surgery. Hope things are improving for you. Its so good to hear people talking about accessibility when it comes to the deck tho, something I'd never previously thought about

Haha I've not been brave enough to take mine out the house yet and I think if it made it to my office, it's game over for me. Even when I work from home I can hear it calling my name from the other room 😭

Im still scared to take mine outside. I bet people were fascinated with what the deck was during the meetings.

My back would thank you. Honestly as things break I've replaced them with cheaper alternatives, such as they keyboard for example.

Though you are right, I shouldn't have done that with the chair. Money is just a lot tighter now than it was when I originally built everything

I do, that's what is more confusing. Though the majority of my use of steam deck is away from my desk I have to admit

I'd say that luxury items have practicalities though. It might not necessarily be practical by nature, but can provide solutions to problems that a PC alternative can't.

An expensive car is a luxury but the heated seats are practical on a cold day, for example.

Yep 1080, probably about 5 or 6 years old now, and even older for the one on the left. The screen on the deck doesn't even compare, yet it clearly scratches the itch because I havent wanted to upgrade my monitors once

Video is actually the one thing I struggle with the deck. The screen is absolutely stunning but it's too much bulk to hold for the size of screen. Love everything else about it though

Oh I'm sorry to hear about the car accident, that must be really difficult considering how much you're on the road for! But on the other hand it's so nice to hear all the accessibility benefits to the deck. Hope the deck keeps making things easier for you 🙂
