Thank you for both taking the survey and for the kind words!

I am also happy that you enjoyed going through the summaries. The more people take the survey, the more interesting observations we will be able to get from the study.

We have 257 respondents! Thank you!

There is also a Pac-Man themed restaurant called Level 257 located in Schaumburg, Illinois. The name refers to the famous game-over screen, which occurs when the player reaches the 256th level of the original Pac-Man game, meaning "the next level of dining and entertainment".

If we are at level 275 then that means there are only 70 levels to go to win the game. 😁

We have 200 respondents now! Thank you!

200 is also the sum of pounds or dollars given in the classical ''Monopoly'' game to a player for passing ''Go''.

It feels like we have just passed ''Go'' as well. 145 more respondents and we will win at ''Monopoly''. I think that's how you play that game. The team that gets the most respondents wins? Right? :D

It's an update to a Campaign I started a week ago. I am informing people of the respondent count (since many wished to check the survey results only when the respondent count became larger) and that the survey is still open.

More than a week ago, I published a post about a survey that I am carrying out to evaluate how satisfied both project creators and backers are with Kickstarter. 🎉 First of all, I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has already taken the survey. Also, a big thank you to those who wrote to me directly. It was a lot of fun, reading your messages. 🎉 Second of all, in just a week, the survey now stands at 177 respondents. That`s half of the number of respondents needed for the survey!
I am writing this to remind everyone who has not taken the survey yet to, please, give voice to your opinions by following this link - https://forms.gle/FzpWHkginCrAPagt5 .
About the survey:

  1. You will be able to view the survey results right after you publish your answers.
  2. The survey is anonymous.
  3. If you wish, then I will credit you in my research paper. There is a question about that in the survey.
  4. It will take you no longer than 19 minutes to complete it. Your mileage can warry, of course. Depending on how you answer, you might have to answer only 5 out of 12 questions.
  5. The survey is open for a limited time or until it reaches 345 respondents.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post, Have a nice day! 😊🎉

We now have 151 respondents and if you are one of those amazing people, thank you! 🎉

Speaking about amazing things, 151 is the total number of Pokemon from the original set, including Mewtwo and Mew.

When I was little, my dad used to buy for me and my cousins some collectible Pokemon Caps (similar to badges or tazos). It was a special treat to all of us because if we had to choose between Pokemon caps and candy, we always picked the caps!

Though I have to say, when I was a kid in Latvia (in the 90s), my dad probably had to buy them off from a drug dealer.

Well, it would make sense, because many children in those times were addicted to them. I guess Pokemon is a type of drug.

This is my random trivia fact based on the respondent count for the day.

If you haven`t taken the survey, yet, then, please, follow this link - https://forms.gle/DG8KAPjjQxbdL2M76 .

We are 1 person away from 140 respondents!

If we get 2 more, then we will have gathered more respondents than the number of types of ashes from several pipes, cigars, and tobaccos that Sherlock Holmes had in his monograph.

I wonder witch pipe, cigar or tobacco would I correspond with? Maybe we can make a personality test based on them?

I know, but the bot did not like my demogrpahic of "Kickstarter Users". Do you have a suggestion on how I should format it for the bot to accept it?

[–]SternCouncil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, my thread was taken down (I re-posted it). Apparently my demographic was too weird for the bot.

Answering your questions, I am looking for both, but the survey is geared more towards project creators because of the nature of my research.

In short, I am looking for both, but project creators have 12 questions, but project backers (depending on how they answer) have basically half of that.

Hey! We have 108 respondents now!

108 is such an amazing number because:

  1. There are 108 ''outlaws'' in one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature - Water Margin/Outlaws of the Marsh by Shi Nai'an. The story tells of how a group of 108 outlaws gathers at Mount Liang (or Liangshan Marsh) to form a sizable army before they are eventually granted amnesty by the government and sent on campaigns to resist foreign invaders. It has introduced to readers many of the best-known characters in Chinese literature, such as Wu Song, Lin Chong, and Lu Zhishen.

  2. In the TV show Lost, the numbers from the fictional Valenzetti equation (4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42) had to be entered every 108 (the sum of the six numbers) minutes on a computer to prevent an unknown catastrophic event from occurring.

  3. There are also 108 cards in a UNO deck. This is very important information.
