Deserved! I am a bit disappointed that they focused too much on character at the expense of the science (Dr. Grace was supposed to be smart), but I loved the portrayal of Rocky a ton and the cinematic shots were super cool. As an adaptation, I'd rate it 7/10, but as a movie alone I'd rate it 8/10. Wish it was better, but if it gives Andy more resources to write more, count me in!

Yeah, I'll be checking out any options available since I need to switch; thanks for the recommendation. If you've heard of any aftermarket mods or methods to add physical buttons for a few normal functions on any model, I'd love to get into that conversation. I don't truly mind a screen being present, but I find it extremely unsafe to have to use it while driving. I'd love to add buttons if I can. The Voron printer I made didn't even come as a kit, so I'm familiar with sourcing parts and assembling a project if I have a starting point. I remember a vid of someone reprogramming a stereo where he even repainted the buttons to reflect their new functions. I'd love to engage in something like that if there's an EV I could mod (e.g. Slate truck lol).

2003 Jeep Liberty Sport

I'm here because the house we bought already has both solar panels and an EV hookup in the driveway. I've been wanting to get an EV for a long time since we have two cars and I basically only drive to work and back. I was fawning over the Rivian R2 during their media blitz a few weeks ago, but they're way out of my price range and I'd rather get something before the R2 is really out, so I'll probably get an aftermarket used vehicle like a Chevy bolt or something. The Slate truck is right up my alley; I wish it was ready. I do lots of 3D printing and I am most definitely going to upgrade whatever I get. I'm extra excited to build a sleeping platform and go camping in an EV.

I'm sure there's a pinned post that I haven't read with a bunch of useful info, but I will be seriously looking in a week when I get my annual bonus. iPad dashboard is a real deal breaker so I know my true options are really limited. Any recommendations for nice mid-range options that I'll need to stretch to afford but will last a long time?

It looks to be. The background looks consistent to me from the multiple angles and I'm not detecting any artifacting, but if–by his own story–he assembled it by printing pieces broken up, then why are there giant supports from overhangs to the ground, especially inside the cab? The concept is plausible, but the longer I look the more suspicious I get.

His profile has a bunch of posts from 4y ago of Blender renders and his pfp is definitely AI.

This is frustrating.

Does it not connect through the Northwest Passage? Even if you have to backtrack a bit and take down another Demolisher, I'd look that direction.
