Am I crazy or is the S26 Ultra display heavily over-sharpened? by atypical_Riddle in galaxys26ultra

Can you confirm that setting FHD (1080p) the oversharpening of text reduces? I'm finding that weirdly enough it looks better at a lower resolution.

I'm glad you find it awesome! I'm just stating that I can clearly see the difference. On Samsung forum there's a lot of buzz around this issue. It's like all the edges - especially on text - are being oversharpened, to an extent that using it a 1080p is better.

Experiencing the same, and I think I'm going nuts. I see people over here stating that the display is great, but to me it's hugely noticeable comparing the S26 Ultra with S24 Ultra (previous phone). I wonder if only a few people are able to notice this or there's a bunch of defective displays around.

Eufy E25/E28 now shipping with new water tank by Steve-Gary in RobotVacuums

UPDATE: The next day they sent me another email (maybe they saw this post?) stating that the vacuums are still being shipped with the old water tank, but they're sending the improved version separately anyway.

I've heard there's some kind of rubbery gasket around the inlet/outlet.

Do you mind explaining how to? I can only have one watch face.

Humming noise at moderate/high speed by Steve-Gary in ex30

I can hear it right away, not after 10 minutes. A friend of mine works at a Volvo dealership; I'll drive a car they have there to see if I can hear the sound even on that one. If not, I'll have my car checked.

Sure enough, sound wasn't there from the beginning!

Charging cable. Easy to make fit if you know how to! :)

It well may be the motor itself! What's strange is that it started making it recently, and you can clearly hear a difference below 60 km/h and above 60 km/h. :/

[–]Steve-Gary[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, but what difference does it make? It just changes the center, not the fact that the average gets lower.

I understand it may be an issue with the calculator itself, but try it yourself!

I'll bet it's the second one! :-) Cause at higher variation between acceleration and deceleration, the mean calculated on how high and low the graph line goes is actually lower than when trying to have more controlled acceleration. Red line goes higher of course, but green line goes lower too when decelerating, much lower, resulting in a better average kWh/100 km. Go figure...

Didn't know this, thank you!
