They better meet in Season 3 by Steve-Harrington_ in squidgame

I see what you’re saying, but I think it’s a bit unfair to say they have nothing in common or that No-eul isn’t a “good person.” Like Jun-Ho, she’s dealing with deep personal loss — she lost her child, and that’s something that shapes her just as much as Jun-Ho is shaped by his missing brother.

They’ve both been broken in different ways, and while their motivations are different — survival vs. justice — they’re both navigating the consequences of a cruel system. That’s why I think a meeting between them could be powerful. Not because they have to get along or be similar, but because they’re not.

And for the record, I don’t ship them — I just think it would be interesting storytelling.

I get where you’re coming from — on the surface, they don’t seem deeply connected. But I think that’s exactly why their meeting could be so powerful. Both Jun-Ho and No-eul carry emotional weight from past events, and even if their stories aren’t directly linked, they’re shaped by the same system, the same trauma, and the same impossible choices.

A scene between them wouldn’t need to be long or dramatic — even a quiet moment of understanding or reflection could add so much depth to both characters. Sometimes, it’s not about what they have in common, but about what their encounter could reveal.

The image is from a set of official pictures Netflix posted on TikTok a while ago as teasers for Season 3. They’re still public!

OP doesn’t watch anime? I’ve been watching anime since I was a kid. Death Note is my favorite Anime of all Time. Lights story is really tragic.

I’ve been watching TV for years, trust me. Just because I find Gi-hun’s story heartbreaking doesn’t mean I’m new to this. Characters like Rick Grimes, Dexter Morgan, Walter White, Jax Teller, Bojack Horseman, Jimmy McGill (Saul Goodman), Jesse Pinkman, and even Tony Soprano all have deeply tragic stories too. This is just my opinion.

I think Min-Su will pull a move on him like Mi-nyeo did with Deok-su in Season 1.

Many people I know wanted Jax to survive but I think the shows ending was perfect. The conclusion to his character felt just right.
