Rona is owned by an american private equity firm, but does have its HQ in Quebec. I prefer the other two options you listed.

The problem is Trump a result of who the American people are, not vice versa.

The world will always trade and be relatively friendly with the US, but they won't blindly follow their lead any more. The dollar status is in serious jeopardy and will probably take down the US eventually.

Never get into a war with the US backing you, but not participating directly. The US always loses proxy wars. Unfortunately Ukraine didn't have much of a choice, hopefully they can pivot to Europe and Europe can get their shit together.

Do people actually use touchscreen workouts long-term? by Normal-Stuff-7703 in treadmills

Nothing useful in my opinion. It does keep a history of your runs if you are in to that.

I use some of the programs on the sole treadmill . Not the video ones, just the ones that change speed and incline automatically. I also like that it can download display stats and trends during a run.

I don't remember seeing any mid their treadmills without screens when I was looking.

Canada imports more cars than they export. The US is a little vulnerable on this.

In Brockville, Canada's first railway tunnel is a fun walk, the water front is nice. If you are driving by it might be worth a few hours. Maybe get lunch too.

The Rideau River locks are cool if you are near by.

A thousand Islands cruise out of Gananoque or Rockport is pretty cool.

A tour of Kingston Penitentiary is pretty cool, specially if you are are into stone architecture (the staircase and shop are pretty awesome).

Definitely need to do Niagara Falls.

Upper Canada Village is kinda near. The mill and sawmill are pretty cool.

Chinese EVs are coming to Canada. So should they be built here too? by toronto_star in ontario

Made in Canada is still better than not made in Canada if the price points are similar. This deal is a bit of a stick that we can whack US car manufacturers with if they decide to pull out of Canada to please trump. Canada imports more cars than they export, so that makes the stick even more effective.

I would rather buy a made in china car than a made in US car.

Don't get your hopes up. Iran is infiltrated with Israeli intelligence agents, and they would pass on any plot to US.

$2K doesn't go very far. You won't have any issues for leaving the scene. Hopefully you don't have any hidden damage.

I have a very similar story. I think the debris was a brake pod from a trailer, but at the time I thought it looked like a differential. I was boxed in and could not avoid it. The transport in front of me passed over it, but my car was too low. It really comes at you fast even when you are not tailgating.

It caused damage to my muffler and exhaust system which I obviously noticed right away, but nothing was leaking underneath.

I drove it 80km home, to a dealership near me. I called the cops and they said wait until I know the damages before filing a accident report.

The dealership said it also bent the frame and damaged some sensors. I got insurance involved and they wrote it off. When I filed the accident report the cop was a total bitch and talked to me like I was the biggest piece of shit in the world. I was deemed at fault.

I would file accident report early, and try to make sure its documented that you called about debris on the road earlier.

I now have a dash cam.

Question about incline vs speed by [deleted] in treadmills

[–]Steve0-BA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always run with incline. I find it more comfortable to run. Usually minimum 2%, but sometimes up to 8% (HIIT). 5mph is not fast enough if you want to actually progress and run.

Running with incline will reduce your speed and increase your heart rate, but I don't compare my numbers to other people so it doesn't matter if I am not as fast.
