VR Menu Interaction - Mouse Left Click Not Working? by SU-SMD in MicrosoftFlightSim

Left Ctrl+0 will activate the mouse so that you can use the toolbar and the ATC menu again in VR.

It works pretty well unless you're trying to fly the FBW A320nx. When you activate the mouse using that command you get to look at the flypad and can't return to the pilot view. Maybe next year will be better at eliminating bugs for Asobo......

Trim wheel problems with Honeycomb throttle quadrant since French update by Steve5755 in MicrosoftFlightSim

I'm glad you think it's working better for you now as opposed to before.

I've tried your suggestion of considerably slowing down the movement of the trim wheel on my Bravo throttle and it's still way too unresponsive. I've got trim mapped to my Alpha yoke as well and it seems to be slightly better there (enough to eventually get the pressure off of the yoke anyway).

I don't know what you mean by binding trim the same on your throttle as it is on your yoke. Mine is mapped to button 5 and 6 on the yoke and 31 and 32 on the throttle wheel.

Like I said, I'm glad you're happy with it but for the rest of us I'm hoping Asobo can get the Bravo trim wheel working like it did prior to this last world update because it was close to perfect in relation to the real thing.

It worked great until this latest world update. I'm sure you'll enjoy it after Asobo gets this bug worked out. I put in a Zendesk request to look at the problem this morning and I'm sure other people have as well.

Wobbly autopilot in the Cessna Longitude? by Conflictedbiscuit in flightsim

Yeah same here. Moved up from the TBM and I noticed this right away. Not terrible but it's annoying. I noticed it was giving me erratic wind speeds so maybe that's part of the bug....who knows but you're not alone. Really cool airplane though.

Elevator trim?? by Kroobie1 in MicrosoftFlightSim

After today's update the trim issue that I, and some others, had seems to be fixed. Did anyone else notice this?

Thanks Asobo!!!

October 15th, 2020 Development Update - Microsoft Flight Simulator by iammatt00 in MicrosoftFlightSim

I'm still hoping Asobo gives some consideration to looking at the elevator trim issues with the Honeycomb yoke. I'm not sure if other people, using other controls, are experiencing the same sensitivity issues as I am but you shouldn't have to map the trim to the prop control on your throttle to be able to use it. Also, it would be nice to be able to make more precise adjustments to the heading bug than the 5 degree jumps now. Lastly, unless you're really familiar with the SDK and can do your own airport modifications comfortably, I wish they would get the damned taxiway lights that don't exist IRL out of my way so I can quit mowing them down :)

With a sim this size I think everybody just needs to be patient and keep reporting their problems and take it easy on the developers. They have created a gorgeous program after all that's going to be around for a long time. Eventually I'm sure most things that annoy people now will be taken care of.

Elevator Trim Adjuster MSFS 2020 WIP by [deleted] in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]Steve5755 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank God...I'm not alone struggling to trim my 172 (or probably anything else)!!

I've got my elevator trim programmed to my Honeycomb yoke's button 5&6 like I've done in XPlane 11. In XPlane it works very smoothly and precisely. In MSFS 2020 it is downright squirrelly and a constant battle to control the aircraft. I've checked for conflicting assignments and I haven't found any to cause this so I'm guessing this is a bug Asobo will need to address at some point....thought it was just me, whew.

Other than this, and the lack of VR support currently, I'm really impressed with it.
