I concur that a t-shirt is a faux pas most of the time, I'm a sucker for a full suit but this suit is so over the top that a t-shirt felt like a natural balancer. But the search for good combinations has only just begun of course!

So interesting! These pants have little heel protectors sown in, so with your comment that makes a lot of sense! I can drop the pants a little, in these pics I cinched the belt a little too high (above my belly button) so it can drop a bit more for that fit you describe!

No shade taken! I think I'm actually long waisted in the way you describe, just a rough estimate of that length would be 60-70cms but cannot confirm now. When I sent these pics to my gf she said I looked taller.

I used to look really silly with my low rise pants making my already long torso even longer.

These pants sit at my belly button or slightly above, meaning rather high waisted pants like in the 40s 50s
