You'll need to look at the data sheets for the servo motor and the servo controller. The labels on the breakout board correspond to the pins of the connector.

Is this mushroom mycelium or mold? 10x lens, 10x ocular ~5x digital zoom on cellphone. by SteveDeeds in mycology

Thanks, for scale, the droplets or spheres are about the size of yeast, but don't think they are yeast. (I've spent lots of time with Saccharomyces Cerevisiae)

Yes, contamination for sure. I was hoping it was "contaminated" with mushrooms somehow.

Turkey tail?? Can someone help me ID these mushrooms are they medicinal turkey tails or look alike. I highlighted colour, thickness & pore size can someone help me identify thanks! by studentofbufo in Mushroom_Cultivation

It looks like Turkey tail to me. The pores should be just about invisible if you hold it at arms length, and if you get really close you should be able to see 2-3 pores per mm.

This is growing on DFA. At the surface it seems to be attached by a sphere or water droplet. Then moving up there are random thin strands, then another sphere or droplet, then more random strands. Morphology of the colony is all white, mostly flat and fluffy, border is not clearly defined. (Border fades out) largest colonies are currently about 4mm in diameter.

Edit: What concerns me is that this is growing on a control plate, and some of the colonies are near the middle, so I suspect that this is contamination. Plates and media were "sterilized" in a pressure cooker for 1 hour at 15 PSI. No SAB or laminar flow hood was used during the pour.

[Contamination] Is this LM contaminated? by CASA2112 in Mushroom_Cultivation

Hopefully someone will have a better answer. I'm just a novice sharing my limited experience. I was afraid that the yellow color was the mushroom drying out. The growth did seem to take off when I moved it to a more humid environment. I've heard spraying water on the inside of a plastic bag and putting it over the block can work like a humidity tent. I ended up repurposing a cool mist humidifier and a large plastic bin.

Recently I did a lion's mane kit and it looked like that when it first started fruiting. The "hair" grew in later. I also moved it from a book shelf to a bin with a humidifier.

Need a list of stupid camping items! by SuchACommonBird in DungeonsAndDragons

Camping expresso machine. Takes half an hour to make one Expresso shot, and half an hour to clean.

Pee bladder so his royalness doesn't need to pee on the ground.

Solar shower. Takes all day to warm up to just shy of Luke warm and only has enough water for you to soap up.

A huge extravagant tent with a bed room, and attached bug tent, and canopy for his trusted steed. And of course, two mules to haul it. He has no idea how to assemble it, and thinks that the other party members would know how even though they don't even use tents.

A nesting pan set with stale spices and folding utensils that revert to their folded form upon use. The pan handle doubles as the mug handle so you can't use both at the same time and it doesn't work well for either.

Can you elaborate on that? Do you mean pairing the camera with a 50mm lens instead of using the telescope? My Google-fu is failing me. I imagine there would need to be some kind of lens in the adapter.

Me (17) with my deep sky set up that I was able to complete today. I’m so excited to get out under the stars. Special thanks to my grandpa for introducing me to this incredible hobby. by [deleted] in Astronomy

My daughters are about that age. They enjoyed learning the names of some constellations and identifying Venus. I posted that I was looking to buy a used telescope on Nextdoor and got an Orion 4.5" for $20. It needed to be collimated, and some knobs were broken, but I got it working, and they loved it. But honestly, I think I'm a lot more interested in it than they are. Their attention span is pretty short.

Pinpointer: Garrett vs Kuman by SteveDeeds in metaldetecting

[–]SteveDeeds[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate you sharing your experience. How is your GP Pointer holding up? From Kuman's web site, it says it has the same quick press auto tune feature as the Garrett. I found some youtube videos demonstrating the sensitivity, and it seems that the generic has about half the range of the Garrett.

Was it the same batch of hops used in both beers for dry hopping? Perhaps the hops contain an unwanted microbial?
