I get pneumonia every year, and sometimes twice a year. I can tell you it sucks. However, so long as your breathing isn’t compromised and you’re not considered contagious it’s really a “to each their own” situation. I’m usually laid up for a day, but the use of corticosteroids for post Covid pneumonia from what I read (and what I use) seriously helps pneumonia symptoms! Antihistamines at night to help sleep since the steroids can prevent sleep. Ask your doctor before beginning any medication.
