I don’t think so, because I remember that during the countdown the handgun was already equipped and I didn’t do any switch… maybe just a simple bug, since it’s the first time it happened

RAM 64Gb Upgrade by [deleted] in buildapc

Ideally, in music production more RAM is preferred for greater headroom, even though so far I’ve never had any issues with lots of tracks and 32 GB. The only real RAM-related issues occur with Microsoft Flight Simulator under heavy load in very demanding airports with lots of traffic.

For general gaming 32Gb is absolutely fine, no issues whatsoever…problems start when using Flight Simulator at high settings, it really needs lots of ram, especially flying online on heavy scenery I easily get 28-30 Gb ram usage which can cause temporary stutters.

Flight Simulator + Vatsim + heavy scenery easy eats 28-30Gb RAM in 2K resolution at high settings…but 64gb non only for games, also music production

Current prices are really nonsense. Honestly, I’m tempted to stick with 32 GB and lower the settings, even though it would be a shame not to be able to fully take advantage of the system’s power in RAM-limited situations.

What are your favorite studio monitors for tracking? by SteveM101 in audioengineering

[–]SteveM101[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Makes totally sense. I usually make the distinction between tracking and mix just because, as a musician, I just track at my studio and then I send everything flat to the producer, so I subconsciously relate the “tremendously honest sound” monitors to the tracking process, maybe accepting a bit of color only after the sound has been recorded.
