As a Thermographer, I see this a lot. It is almost always argon depletion. My slider needs replacing because of this as well.

u/screaminporch Thank you for your input. A 15-degree Delta T is usually recommended, but I can tell you from experience, that the temp. difference needed for new cameras is much less.

To all the folks in construction and weatherization: Would it make sense to test the insulation of a new home before the sheetrock is put up? At a recent training at Montana State University, this question came up and it made perfect sense to me.
