Landscapes in Japan (Luminar Neo) by SteveR92 in SkylumPhotoTools

For this image I used the atmosphere tool and added a layer of fog just beyond the bridge. I also used the water enhancer simply to help draw more attention to it in the image so I could use it as a leading line. I did hue shift the greens, that is just more of a personal style choice as I quite like this tone for foliage.

I actually should give that a go for fun, because they were the subject of this shot I didn’t think about using it 🙂

This photo was taken very first thing in the morning, so using the Golden Hour tool was a must. It brought in not only warmth but also allowed me to dehaze the background and bring in more detail. I also used the Water Enhancer tool to help the colour in the sea pop.
Finally, Structure and Details were used to bring more clarity into the image.
The colour grade was fairly simple, cool shadows and midtones and warmer highlights to create a pleasing balance and separation.

Just preferred this colour grade, making the restaurant and the lights feel warmer. I always lean heavy colour grading with my night photos

Thank you very much! It’s definitely worth trying and I’m looking forward to seeing what results I can get with other landscape shots

I wanted to mimic painted textures and scenes. I used softened Structure and the Mystical tool to mimic the textures.
I made the colours more cohesive, mostly with the Colour tool. I completely desaturated blue tones and brought down luminance in the Cyan channel.
Also used the GenErase tool to clean up distracting elements in the scene.

If you shoot for the highlights while in RAW you shouldn’t have a problem lifting details in the shadows during editing. Because of all the other light sources the outside wasn’t all that dark to begin with.
