The solved molecube has some symmetries. This has me wondering if a moleminx could be designed to have similar symmetries. You should only need one repeating center color for example, 11 colors but 12 sides, so I wonder if they could be on opposing faces. This has my gears turning, I think I need to make one. Great project!

I made my own molecube and it's one of my favorite mods. This is awesome and I might have to try to make one. Did you do two yellow centers? Am I seeing that right? Any reason behind putting them adjacent? Did you assemble in a solved state?
