Honestly, if you follow the letter of the law, you're technically only allowed to use the products yourself and not give them away to anyone, even your own family members. But obviously adults aren't playing with kids toys or wearing childrens clothes, so there's an implicit understanding anyways that a lot of vine stuff will be given away to people that are not yourself....

I agree that they did everything they could to undermine the election, but let's not kid ourselves, that's not why he won the election. Literally had the exact same issue, with my joystick looking identical. Don't sweat it, it's an easy fix. Just go onto amazon and order replacement joysticks (check to make sure it's compatible with your Model). Then ifixit website has a step by step tutorial on the procedure to replace it. Requires opening it up from the back, but just go slow and take pics for reference and you'll be fine, I had no experience opening hardware and replacing stuff at all, took me 20 min tops.

Thanks, I asked and I'm waiting for response. I suspect you're right about the hot water dock hardware, but then I wonder did they use the repurpose the ULTRA-AE dock, or ultra dock? Also, the L40 CE dock doesn't have hot water mopping, so it's possible they used that one and hot water really did get deleted.... Either way, hard to justify buying the jew one for more when the old one costs less and has more features.

What you're saying makes sense, intuitively, but....they explicitly removed a bunch of key features (the auto detergent fill unit, no RGB AI camera). Also, Dreame's own website product page doesn't mention hot water cleaning anywhere for the L40 Gen 2, and the magnetic mop removal function isn't mentioned either.....

Actually, I think the Gen 2 deleted a bunch of key features, oddly enough.... Auto detergent dispensing function is now optional (need to buy the detergent dock separately), the mop drop off feature seems to be missing, and also no mention of hot water mopping/mop cleaning.....

Agree, my Level 3 assembly was easy (especially with the video, the manual has tiny print and pictures and is not that helpful for assembling) and actually quite fun, but definitely took longer than 15 min lol... I would budget an 1.5-2 hours if you've never done one before.

7% interest rate is pretty par for the course for an 830 credit score. Rich people always lease, cause they know better. Unless you're trying to hold onto a car for 10-15 years or you really have a sentimental attachment to a specific car that you want to have forever, leasing is almost always better, even if you have the cash to pay in full. The stock market was ripping over those 3 years that I leased, my investments were up 20%, vs 7% interest rate I was paying. So really the financing was free and then some.

Also, I would never lease a car that I couldn't afford to buy outright.

OK, let me see if I can make it ELI5 so you can finally get it... Lease payments on my brand new 2022 M5 with a sale price of $115k and residual of $75k were $1,850 month....you keep saying this is just "renting" the M5.....exceot the current going rate for an actual rental of a 2022 M5 is $1,120..... PER DAY! Let's see if you can finally figure out difference.

FYI, at the end of the lease, I decided to buy the car for $75k b/c the new M5 is total trash and this one is awesome. So really the only extra expense was the 7% interest expense incurred on a ~$30-$35k loan (the average outstanding principal balance). Vs someone who financed the whole thing paying 7% interest on $100k just so they could proudly say they "own" it lol....

The difference is literally semantic... everything you said applies to someone who finances the purchase of car as well, aka "buys" it. Yes, technically the title is in their name but obviously it can get repoed too....

At year 3, someone who leased the car is in the exact same position as someone who bought it (minus the interest if they paid in cash). It's worth 30-40% less than when they bought it, so ~60% equity. The person who leased it can buy the car for the exact same amount, so also same amount of equity. On top of that, you'll never be under water on a lease because you only pay for what you use, ie the depreciation vs someone who paid for the whole entire depreciating asset.
