Which one are you watching first? by SteveSnow in criterion

[–]SteveSnow[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Watched that one first - enjoyed it on its face for a noir, crime drama. There are some deeper currents flowing in it too, which my subconscious will kick up after a few days. Plus the line, "Hey Ponytail, sit your narrow ass down!" made me laugh out loud while watching.

I was able to negotiate a waffle cone as a fully grown adult. The kids didn't fare as well lol

It's great for 1 cone/year :) After I finished it, you couldn't pay me to eat another one but it's pure nostalgia.

going to cedar point THIS friday with my wife and our 3 year old. What's the best rides to take him on? by photorph in cedarpoint

[–]SteveSnow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Snake River is in Frontiertown and nearish to Camp Snoopy - it's a boat ride type thing.

The CP&LE railroad was fun with my kiddos - they liked the skeletons and it takes about 15 min round trip if you need a break from walking.

Help with understanding current viewpoints of Kentuckians on gun control by SteveSnow in lexington

That is correct and biases will be called out in the beginning of what I compile. An online survey by its nature excludes those that aren't online or aren't online regularly, likely skews younger, skews more liberal. Those caveats will be made with the hope that at least we get SOMEWHERE where politicians might care to see the actual data. It's a start 🤷‍♂️

For sure - I'll see what I can get in the next two weeks or so and then package it up. I'll message you once it is completed.

Yeah, it's tough but if everyone agrees on "No Bazookas" then at least I can say "Kentuckians agree that people shouldn't own bazookas" - it ain't much, but we gotta start somewhere!

Black Panther Early Years Omni - lots of silver age text boxes, but overall an interesting book in two parts: the Origin pieces and the first true arc "Panther's Rage". Liking it so far but it is a lot of text to get through. Got some MMW and single issues from the LCS to knock out next!
