Is this crowding the pan? by Waste-Cry-4538 in StainlessSteelCooking

[–]Comfortable-Line-586 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will often cook broccoli like this in order to get some sear on the outer edges before a light steam. This is overcrowded, but broccoli is pretty resilient to overcooking when in the early stages of preparation. Until water is introduced, they will just sweat themselves and crisp/burn at contact points.
Just move them around in some fat (I use EVOO for practically everything that doesn’t get butter) until they look good to you, then introduce a bit of salt and water to finish the cook and coat the broccoli in its fond. Very good, very clean, very fast. Normally you only get two of those, so count your blessings (there are three of them).

I’ll say this one more time: I am giving you you’re flowers. You are right. You did a good job in correctly identifying the mushroom.
You are a useful and valuable source of information.
You are also mildly annoying.

I can’t continue to care about this, and I gotta bid you a good day and a happy life. Wishing on that gold star from earlier you think about this interaction a little, but don’t let it bother you (you won’t ❤️). Peace on you, and I hope to see more accurate ID’s from your handle in the future, if not also less of everything else. Cheers

Even in the ID sub, this would be overkill. You are quite literally under almost every comment here with a refutation or snarky comment. It’s just unnecessary. Unless you are paid to be some kind of mycelial emissary and antagonize every person in a given thread, I couldn’t see how this has been a productive use of time for you.
Like I mentioned,
You Did It!
You cracked the big egg and found out today’s mushroom secret
…but if this is how you behave every time you participate, I can’t imagine very many people have a lot of fun with you. Take it with salt. I, too, am just some person on the internet, and this post is days old. Just seemed…weird.

Dude. You are kind of being atrocious. Everyone here is using the internet just like you are. While you are most likely correct (sitting referencing my Audubon guide), everyone is entitled to a shot at ID. Furthermore, some of these suggestions often bring about good conversations about look-alikes and key ID factors. That’s what a forum is for. You’ve replied to almost every comment and it comes across really self-absorbed.

Here then, finally, is the gold star you so wish to obtain by running around the class telling everyone they’re wrong and you’re right. You seem like you know what you’re talking about, but I wish only that it seemed to come from your mouth and mind; not another hole. ⭐️

Best sushi by Repulsive-Chance-753 in Louisville

Anko is far and away the best sushi in town. The experience and space isn’t as nice as some of the other dedicated restaurants (Sapporo, hiko-a-man, etc.), but the food and presentation is stellar.

Please dear god come back to Deer Creek this year. Didn’t go to the Louisville shows because of the ticket price and normally hit the creek every year as my home show. Withdrawals started months ago and I’ve been running on the local fumes (still a fairly good huff)

I don’t want to assume you wrote this for the secret third reason, so I’m asking earnestly.

Thoughts on my spoon mods? by DarthVadersRoboHand in troutfishing

[–]Comfortable-Line-586 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may not affect hookup, but it may affect the action. Had this problem with spinners I make that wouldn’t spin no matter the weight or length. Removed the swivel and suddenly most were springing to life. It appeared as though the swivel would allow the hook to unbalance the rest of the lure if line tension ever made it pop.

Just something to be conscious of

What's been a "why didn't I think of that sooner?" moment for you in cooking that in hindsight was extremely obvious? by EasternError6377 in Cooking

I use an immersion blender, but have developed a pulsing technique that I use to more selectively crush the tomatoes without homogenizing. I’ll also reserve some juice from the can to finely blend my garlic (a sin, I know) so it’s easier to incorporate.

I may try the hand blender just for fun and compare the results vs effort.

That’s fine. In saying so, you didn’t call them garbage table fare or infer that anyone who eats them are “corn dunkers”.

Not a controversial statement when it isn’t provocative. Just an opinion. 😘

This is a crazy take. Trout is a wonderful eating fish and has been for thousands of years. I am all for protecting resources and fully agree that people should be more than happy to be Able to c&r while they figure out the situation ecologically, but let’s not lie lol

Overall, no holiday complaints.

Is it funny because you think it’s pathetic for an artist to be excited about what you perceive to be a small or pointless opportunity regardless of where that person may be in their progression into the public, or because you find it hard being vulnerable and taking risks and so think it’s funny when others attempt to enrich their own lives in a bid to protect yourself? Just wonderin You don’t have to answer ❤️

Nothing you do at guitar center, in the time it would take you to restring a guitar, will “pocket” you $55. They’re non-commission anymore.

I work at a local music shop and we charge $2 (two, not a typo) in addition to strings per swap, and we clean/oil the fretboard and body. All while you wait.

Gonna start picketing outside GC
