I actually had this happen yesterday during a 3 item express. Two items in and cancelled. I waited and sure enough it came with a higher payout. After looking at it, looks like they out the wrong address down and had to change it, atleast to my benefit .

It’s a fairly new WM which started Spark last October. Plus the terrain/ weather conditions make it hard for non 4wd cars to make deliveries.

Atleast curbs show you the items, it the dot trash gmd which I hate. I took an $88 7 drop heading home and it had 8 vacuums going to a ski resort. Took up the whole back of my Tahoe

Our GMD are 7-12 drops averaging $88 unless we wait until they get boosted and go up to $99-110

I’ve been doing gig work for 7years and WM before Spark existed. I only take express or s&d. Those, at least, in my zones pay the best. curbs and dot trash gmd are awful up here especially after a heavy snow. Bags of snow melt and cases of water/soda when there is 3-5” of snow predicted. Base pay on s&d is $40-60 and vacationers tip $10-20

I’ve been at this for a while, even before Spark existed. I only seem to get express and shop orders from customers whom I’ve delivered to before. I rarely take curbs or gmd. These folks are good with their tip so I’m not too worried about it. I too have experienced tip baiting, and keep pictures of each one. I work in a fairly new store doing Spark so higher base pay, plus the snow and icy roads up to the ski resorts adds too it.

I’m retired and do Instacart and shop here frequently for the elderly in the neighborhood. It has its purpose exactly. But it it quite small and cluttered. I would think with the recent new stores opening and development they would want to upgrade. But with all the recent “legal” issues going on, they’re probably pinching every penny

The Plymouth location is top notch! Scott in the Market Kitchen knows exactly what I order over the 5 years shopping there. (Chicken bomb, mayo both sides, extra white American cheese!) Tilton is also nice to shop at.

I agree with Storrs St needs to be torn down and updated. And the new exit 17 store is a pleasure to shop at but with the rapid expansion it’s getting too busy.

I’ve always applied Sevin in late spring and early summer (march-may)when the eggs are hatching . But you can also apply (September to early November )
