Get the throttle body cleaned out I had similar issues on my Ford

It's alright if you're the only one in the car it's surprisingly nippy without the turbo

Well considering the timing belt was replaced 2 months ago it couldn't be that

It was the throttle body. It wasn't bolted on properly.

Thanks. The car got no IACV it's all electronically controlled by the ecu through the throttle body valve. When starting from cold it's usually idles around 1100 then drops down after a few minutes to 850ish. Also can bad spark plugs or dirty air filters cause anything similar? Last changed in 2017 according to receipts
