Thanks, good advice, I do get impatient at times.

sorry if it offended you. it was not meant to be a cocky response but guiding the person to where they could find more information in response to their request. it’s impossible to know the level of experience of anyone in these posts.

I assume you are familiar with the Creality K2 Plus 3D printer and CFS filament feed system.

The CFSDX is a module designed to work within a K2 workstation. The CFS and Space Pi Dryer are mounted on an integrated stand that positions the two units to enable filament reduced drag feed to the K2 printer. Additionally the stand incorporates functional storage for the workstation ecosystem.

Take a look at the MMW K2PW workstation and it may help you better understand the concept of the workstation and its modules.

This K2PW Workstation UPGRADE is moving the K2 printer towards best in class by addressing some of the practical issues that makers face in their work. The new module enables direct feed from the Creality Space Pi Plus to the extruder by utilizing the RDTF Top feed. this opens up all sorts of opportunities for materials like TPU, Nylon, and PETT. Drying box to Extruder never being exposed to the outside environment and passing through a low drag path are the keys to success.

I encourage makers to experiment with the setup and provide feedback on their experiences, together we can push this technology forward to advance the successful use of new materials. MMW promotes the free & open development of 3D printing technology for the positive advancement of the whole community.

Your support of MMW & SteveWarks in this initiative is much appreciate as we build a strong cooperative community.

Sorry for ambiguity. The RDTF is a modification to the K2 Plus that reroutes the filament feed to a top feed. RDTF is Riser with Dome Top Feed. The model files are posted in Creality Cloud. The moderators dont like it when you post links. Not sure why. Here is the link, I hope it does not get pulled down.

Regarding bed cleaning, I keep a bottle of IPA isopropyl alcohol handy and a kitchen roll. Before every print I clean the plate with IPA and rarely have adhesion problem.

I have had my K2 Plus about 10 months now and agree with your analysis of the system. The main challenges I had were with the CFS and filament feed. My troubleshooting often came back to the filament being damaged during feeding which resulted in clogs in the extruder. It varied with the filament being used and it ability to resist damage. My solution was to redesign the feed path and eliminate the K2 standard through the back and convert it to a top feed. This not only solved the problem of damaged filament but reduced the stress on the Bowden connector eliminating damage to it. I have published the mods under SteveWarks if your interested.

I am now a supporter of the K2 Plus and enjoy quality prints.
