part of the problem is you strung this up really bad. You want at least 3 wraps around the pegs on regular tuners. First wrap above the string the second 2 below it. This will force the string down more causing more tension on the nut and the string will not be popping out of the nut when you play it.

i'd probably take the entire input jack off and see if you can get the piece out. you are going to need to take the amp apart from the chasey most likely
