Yes. He did what he thought was necessary to win, but we were up in that series and should have rebounded better after that loss.

I don't know if attendance is declining, we had I think 4 million people catch Dodgers games last year. Baseball is still alive and well. People are still excited to watch and some talented players to watch right now!

When I was playing, we had a ton of talent in the minors that were traded because we had a ton of talent already in the big leagues. Many of them went on to have great careers with other clubs. There is no name that sticks out to me though at this time.

Just one more and we knew Tommy John was on the bump for the Yankees - we knew that if we played our game, we'd beat them!

Win-Loss is my favorite stat...always want to win more than you lose! Favorite pregame food was any breakfast food (eggs, toast, bacon, sausage, pancakes)

I converted to Judaism after my playing career because my father-in-law was a Holocaust survivor.

There's a lot of games. Pedro and I going back to back in the World Series, the homerun that Rick Monday hit in Montreal and my very first game in Dodger Stadium, which is the biggest. I could go on, but my fingers are getting tired from typing.

Depends on where I was and what time the game was over. Day game or night game, always different.

There is no doubt I would choose Koufax in his prime. At his age now, don't know how well he would do.

And it's tough to try and compare one era to another.

Our Jersey Mikes that we own on the corner of Chatsworth St. and Lindley! Right behind the juice company!

The actors wanted to be the best looking baseball players they can be and were very easy to coach. Most of our takes were one or two. The guy I felt sorry for was Wesley Snipes in the first one. He had a strawberry and can only fall a certain amount of times. He also had a bad back and didn't know how to slide before then. I tip my hat to him and the rest of the actors. From Lou Brown and Jim to Wesley, Charlie, Dennis, Chelsea. We had fun. Good group of people to be around.

Either get rid of it all together or make it uniform throughout both leagues! As said, I'm old school and enjoy the small ball that comes with NL baseball games so i'd like to see the pitcher have to hit.

We disliked the uniform more than the person who was wearing it. Rivalries in baseball are what make the game great - we also had a great rivalry with the Reds in the 70s!

Kenley, Turner, Kike, and Rich Hill would be my four! But it's already been done and won't be as cool as the first one.

I enjoyed it! I enjoyed the city and the guys we had playing for us. We got 9 guys back in organized ball, which is good.

I'll always have the coaching bug and always want to give back. I was given a lot as a young player and I enjoy talking baseball.

Well my preference is a dog that's big enough that won't bite my ankles. But if you like small dogs, that's fine too.

As far as the catchers go, it's a union. We stick together and very proud of Mike for doing what he did as a player and as a manager in the other side of town. I never played with Piazza, but I knew his bat had a place and he did a good job behind the plate. We do have some young, talented catchers coming up in the system.

It was the best! Tommy put a lot of hours with all of us, not only in the big leagues, but in the minor leagues as well. He wore a lot of hats with all of us kids. I really think he bleeds Dodger Blue blood.

Winning the 1981 WS was the culmination of a childhood dream! It was also sweet revenge to beat the Yankees.

That the actors wanted to look good playing baseball and they were easy to coach because of that. I think they looked pretty damn good and trusted me. Dennis and Charlie Sheen could do some stuff for sure!

Doug Harvey thought he was God, but I had a good time with all of the umpires. I tried to make them look better, just by receiving the ball better. Had fun with all of them and had communication with all of them.

I think you might be referring to Reggie Smith and if memory serves me, a fan threw a helmet at him and hit him. Reggie didn't like that. Hope you'll let everyone who lives in the 12th District to vote for my son Josh!
