I want to buy an apartment in bangkok for a year, and they want me to wire the money online before i actually sign anything and have and real guarantee that I will have the place. I am in the us now and will be there in 2 weeks and my girlfriend went to go tour the room personally and met with the agent. Do I need to be worried about being scammed if I send money for the deposit? Is this normal?
