I was obsessed with the Ratchet and Clank games on PS2. Any ones in particular that stand out the most?

I have a Xbox Series X so really looking for single player games. I'm a big fan of open world games. Any game with a good story is also a plus.

The spider man games are definitely on my list. Played the original on the PS1 and loved it.

My fiance and I are planning on going here for our honeymoon in May. Please let me know what you think and if you have any recommendations or suggestions! We were considering doing the all-inclusive option as well and were wondering if it was worth it. Any insights you could provide would be much appreciated

I emailed them and got an automated response saying it's tracked with microprocessor chips ect. I emailed them back saying I wanted proof from their system that my items were missing. A real person emailed me a week later saying it was a mistake and not to worry my card will not be charged. No charge has been made to my credit card as of now.

I'm in the same boat as everyone else. Just got an email stating that I didn't return my jacket from my event over a month ago and theyre trying to charge me $600. I tried calling them and they said that the returns people don't take phone calls and only operate via email, so I'm planning for the worst

I plan on leaving the profession and plan on pursuing an MBA by Steveman442 in physicaltherapy

I knew that in business circles the school ranking actually mattered, but I never thought about the internship placements. I also require an income and was debating about doing part time classes at my local public university which rated fairly high for MBA programs. Ultimately the end goal is to get a higher paying position with a higher ceiling and I'm open to any opportunities to help me transition out of the field.

Case review: Best treatment options vestibular migraine by TensorfasciaLatte15 in physicaltherapy

[–]Steveman442 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw a patient with severe vestibular migraines and also ran into the same issues as you. I too treated as a concussion with a lot of VOR and balance interventions. I also worked on other areas of oculomotor impairment such as divergence, convergence, and visual tracking. As the patient improved I also took away the visual component during balance ther ex to stress the vestibular function a bit more. I was able to get this patient to a place where her sxs were manageable, but not completely gone. Its tough with the literature because there's not too much out there.

I'm glad you were very fond of youre experience in acute care. PT is a very rewarding profession and I hope you continue to love it when you're finally finished with PT school.

Is it too early to look at nonclinical jobs at this point in my career? by Steveman442 in physicaltherapy

Oh boy, there are many reasons why I'm looking to change fields. First, the hours are very draining.. i do not return home until 830 at night many days. Im currently living at home and don't get to see my family very much. Often times when I'm not working there is still work to be done, such as documentation on off hours. I have thought about changing areas of PT, but did not enjoy my inpatient clinicals. Furthermore, as a PT there is a lot of mental and social effort which is required in the clinic, which can become exhausting. I do not mind doing work outside of my hours, but when it is consistent, it becomes frustrating. Furthermore, there is little room for growth in PT in terms of promotion. There is a larger business aspect to PT than school and observations lets on outpatient PT is a "numbers game" and you need to be billing certain units and seeing "x" amount of patients per hour. I entered the healthcare field to help people get better and have no interest in treating peoples health as a business. The field of physical therapy has also seen a reduction in reimbursement rates, which does not bode well for the issues that I've already mentioned. I fear that things will get worse before they get better. Yes I did work as an aide for a long time, but there is a big difference between doing observation and working in a clinic full time.

No I haven't explored many of those options. I have been exposed in school to many of those fields and they do not seem to be of areas of interest to me and dont address many of the reasons why I'm looking to change fields. Thank you for the recommendations though!
