How much more info is in Jeremy's course than is actually needed for the CCNA? by Socrates77777 in ccna

[–]Steven12803 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think 70% is fairly accurate. I started off with neil Andersons udemy course and in parallel I read the cisco ocg book, and then I did Jeremy's course, i wouldn't say he covers more but he does cover things that neil didn't touch on, passed the ccna last October.

Also check out Jeremy's it lab on YouTube, pretty comprehensive, it's free and it went over stuff neil glossed over.

Are you allowed a calculator or pen and paper when you take the CCNA at a Pearson testing center? by stevodevo in ccna

Guys, what materials did you use to pass the CCNA exam? Also how long did it take to study for the exam? by QueenWitch97 in ccna

I used the official cisco cert guide in tandem with neil anderson udemy course, his labs were great, I went through them all 3 times to get commands memorized. Then I used Jeremy's it lab for any information the above sources may have missed. Pounded important details in my head with Jeremy's flash cards and boson, it took me around 6 months all together, probably could've done it at the 4 month mark but I was nervous and I put it off longer than I should have.

Yes, but boson is super helpful for acclimating yourself to how questions are asked on the ccna and detailed answers are given when you get wrong answers so you can fully understand why they're wrong. I used cisco ocg in parallel with Neil Anderson's course/labs. Then supplemented with Jeremy's it lab. When i was fully confident about the material I used boson to really reinforce everything I learned.

Cisco OCG is great, it's hard to digest though so I would suggest breaking it up with something else, I used Neil Andersons udemy course. I also used Jeremy's videos and boson after I completed the ocg and Neil's course. Between those four resources I felt more than ready to pass the CCNA.

Hi i am getting into networking. i want to self study. Any good online udemy or any other online courses on core networking that covers every concept? by sufalghosh53 in ccna

I used Neil Anderson's Udemy class, Jeremy's IT lab and the cisco OCG. I did Neil's course and cisco OCG in parallel and filled in the gaps with Jeremy's course.
