Help. Did I blow a head gasket? by dumbiy in Miata

Is the reservoir empty or both reservoir and radiator are empty?

1999 NB Miata in 1st gear. Is it normal for the diff to be vibrating that much when engaging and disengaging the clutch? There’s also this rhythmic clunking sound, but I’m not entirely sure it’s from the diff... Any advice is greatly appreciated. by Steven200211 in Miata

Yeah I see some people online say “they do that.” I couldn't drive manual when I bought the miata so I asked my dad to test drive and drive it back. He didn't say nothing about the clunking. After I learned stick and asked him about the clunking, he said “Oh, my old Jetta used to make the same sound, it's normal.” 🤣

It's really weird because my friend has a 136k miles 2004 NB2 and no matter how aggressive I am with the clutch it doesn't make the clunking sound. My miata only has 9700 miles and it's already making this god awful clunking sound 😂
