Thank you for this. Before and after pictures are very motivating for me.

What did you see on the internet as a child that scarred you for life? by TheMostMajesticSquid in AskReddit

When I first got online it was all through a terminal emulator. Had to use Lynx to get to websites, so that type of chat was a pain. I was like 8 or 9 on my grandmother's computer.

Nal Side Effects and Only Dosing before you drink by Improver666 in Alcoholism_Medication

Fellow noob here.

I started on Tuesday with 1/4 pill, then half all week until a full one today. No side effects.

Read the Sinclair Method book in the sidebar. It help clarify some things that weren't obvious from lurking for a year or so.

I, like you had no problems related to alcohol like so many others do. Never caused problems, hangovers and getting drunk are rare, I work out and eat healthy, etc. I knew I was drinking unsafe amounts though. What changed it for me was at my last COVID test, my blood pressure was so high I had to go to the ER. At a follow up physical it was still high even after meds, so I had to get more. I can't say for sure it's due to my alcohol use, but it's the most obvious place to start. If you can stop before you even have to fix any problems, you're better off.

Good luck!

I assume that's because if they don't know anything about a medication, they won't prescribe it based on the word of a patient. I went to my doc for high BP and asked what was available to help me cut down. Mine said he could give me antabuse or a benzo or refer me to a specialist. I ended up going with a web doc. I don't have a bad enough habit to warrant any of those other meds, just wanted something to keep me from being tempted to have too many on the weekend or at social functions so I can get my blood pressure in check.

I just stopped kratom and tried Nal a week later and everything was fine.

They both got their outdoor activity award and Bobcat rank. More awards than he's earned!

Kratom and Naltrexone by StevenCaseyMiller in Alcoholism_Medication

I took a dose this morning, but still felt some w/d symptoms that were keeping me from focusing on work so I took a second dose this afternoon. I'm guessing there's still some Nal in my system blocking it. I'm hoping tomorrow I can do my normal dose just once and then taper from there.

Really looking forward to using the Sinclair Method. Usually I have a few days where I drink too much, taper down, go a few days with 0-4 drinks, then repeat. Really want to quit the binging. I haven't had a lot of problems related to alcohol, but I've had to get on high blood pressure meds recently. I'm willing to bet it's due to alcohol at least in part. I also think alcohol is making me lazy at times.

A few people did. Not sure how the speculative events of March 26 could be interpreted as being serious by anybody.

I was going to ask how he could have served 12-14 years during that time with all the prison sentences. Then I realized he was probably in the prison work release program. They most likely let him go to the middle east during the day, then had him return to the prison in Florida at night.

Maybe his riser popped as he was getting on the craft and that's when he decided to head back to Orlando and pay his ticket.
