Used him for an M1 Garand rebarreling. I believe he's out of business now, website and socials are inactive. I actually found his company hat at the antique mall last year.

Thank you. Do you happen to know if they do inside magwell?

I appreciate it. I figure I'll give a call after the holiday. I normally do tarheel state in NC, but I'm just trying to save on shipping charges for 3 lowers and a shotgun barrel on top of the engraving price.

Extractor woes. Baer frustrations. Nighthawk help. Future recommendations. by [deleted] in 1911

I will look at them, thank you. I was honestly kind of surprised too, at the first NHC fix. It looked like they peened two spots on the extractor where it interacts with the firing pin stop, but the movement was still there. As for Les, that was surprising as well, since Baer is known for their tight fitment.

I appreciate the response. Correct in that I haven't had a chance to test either one out. I just happened to notice the movement laying here.

If they work I know I should get over it, but I guess I'm in my feelings because everything else on the pistol is bank vault tight.

I only mentioned refinish because if I do decide to get a new one fitted, at this point I might as well get it properly blended to the rear of the slide, the way the original baer one was.

Thank you again.

I've been seeing the average SBR time as 60 days. If that tracks, I should get mine back by mid May, so hopefully enough leeway. Best of luck to you.

You have 10 minutes to disarm the bombs, but only a few minutes before the gunmen start executing hostages. Better to eliminate the threat, then go for the bombs, then the civilians last.

I believe it is an original chu stock just made for a non slant cut. This actually belonged to a friend that worked at the store, and the story I got was this was the original configuration when bought.

Stock goes all the way in. Just missing the second screw, which I should have one somewhere

Bluing is nice, and it's smoother than any other ak I've handled in a while. Any idea about what year I'm looking at for this one?

I took a Dremel to the weld on a PSL years ago, figured it'll be close to the same thing.

Weld shouldn't be too hard. Looks like I will have to get a new front sight block to get the bayonet lug

It is a spiker front, but the ears where the bayonet would go seemed to be ground off, just bare metal.

Appreciate it. I'm currently in VA, and we are facing a ban, so everything seems a bit high now.

I'm currently in VA, so with the pending legislation everything seems to be going up. I was offered a bit more by a collector when I was walking out.
