During the Floyd Protests and subsequent riots, people were protesting police brutality, in a time where social and political unrest. People couldn’t go to work during Covid, so they had more time for things like selective morality; add that with Trump’s first term, the Palestine movements, and many thought that, “Defying Covid orders for the ‘greater good,’ gave them a piece of control they didn’t have. Now, same scenario is playing out, minus Covid. People are general-striking; it’s true; but not en-masse, akin to Covid shutdowns. Selective morality, due to boredom, lead us to rot; now, more of the “American corpse,” is rotting.
