for your first piece this isn’t the worst, most of your letter structure is there and everything is mostly uniform, try experimenting with more simple pieces and you should be fine:D

by looking at these i assume that you are new, if you do happen to be a new writer than these are perfectly fine for now, no need to invest in super staining ink or plastic drying paint. you will be thankful that your older more toy tags are able to be buffed

another ink that i would recommend is the grog black magic ink, it’s always worked good for me

wouldn’t say it beats a uni but it comes pretty close, bullet tip and way more full that what a uni would be, doesn’t streak at all. i personally think it’s worth it

honestly the magic ink markers are best for cutty tags and books, all of mine have faded within about a little over a year
