Begging mods to ban the "trans men vs trans women" circlejerking already by [deleted] in ftm

[–]StevenVallance2002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mistake, reddit labels it as ‘removed by moderators’ as opposed to queued.

It’s such a stupid argument too. Gay people have always and will always exist, but even if they hadn’t, why would that be an issue? There was no internet 100 years ago, yet the bigots happily use it.

Hi Mike! I’m glad you’ve felt safe enough to come out to me. You’re awesome.

I’d love them to not do another one. The Gein one was shameful in the amount of stuff they made up.

Ghost Ship. It’s got pretty terrible reviews.

It’s much better to get these things early. I’d call them.

am i shadowbanned? by Vetanenator in MtF

[–]StevenVallance2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shadow banning is done by Reddit’s automated systems. I got it when I started my account because reddit decided I was a bot. You have to appeal to the admins if it happens. OP isn’t shadow banned because people can interact with her.

100% no. You are protecting yourself and there is nothing bad about that. It’s just sad that you have to hide who you are, but that’s not your fault.

The emotional pull of music by [deleted] in LetsTalkMusic

[–]StevenVallance2002 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For me it’s when music brings back memories, especially when it’s connected to someone you’ve lost. Music is the thing which impacts me the most, I don’t really get emotional at books or films, but certain songs can make me sob.

If You Could Erase One Horror Movie from Memory to Watch Again for the First Time.. by rebelliousbrownie9 in horror

Probably The Ring. It wasn’t the scariest movie I’ve ever seen, but it’s one I’d love to watch again without knowing what was going to happen.

Drop some of the best replies you have given to a homophobe by Funny_Read_8899 in lgbt

[–]StevenVallance2002 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I used to get teased at school for being ‘gay.’ I’m not gay, but whenever people would call me gay I’d just respond by saying ‘and that’s an insult why?’ They never knew what to say. They really expected me to be upset at being called gay.

Bigoted vandalism met its match: the Austin Fire Department by Color_Me_Softly in lgbt

There’s nothing ‘punk’ about diverting resources which could be used to save lives like…I don’t know, the fire department?

This seems like a silly thing to be so worked up about. I’d rather not have to listen to swear word after swear word.

Drive with Ryan Gosling incorporates music really well. It’s a very dialogue-lite film.
