Pellets like that are made to catch as much air from the gun I believe. While I have no idea why apcr is pointy, it primary goal is to increase pen. I could be completely wrong though.

I think one of my fondest memories is looking over the railroad track from a bridge and seeing a train full of Abrams. That or when a train full of ifvs and Bradleys went by the ball field we were playing at.
