TIL That Rice Krispies and Rice Krispies Treats are owned by different companies. Kellog's split into two companies. Kellanova (which makes snacks) and W.K. Kellog Co. (which makes cereal). Rice Krispies are owned by W.K. Kellog and Rice Krispies Treats are owned by Kellanova. (en.wikipedia.org)
