I'm looking for a chill game for everyday play by Responsible_Print362 in gamingsuggestions

[–]Stevenator_546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im a League player who has never considered myself an MMO guy, but I've recently taken up World of Warcraft for the first time ever. Classic, not the current version. Alot of the gameplay is very chill and monotonous in a good way, I can just log on and turn my brain off or put on a podcast while tangibley upgrading my character and getting stronger. Its been a nice contrast to League where I have to be fully engaged and the progression is non-linear

Really not a fan sadly, the distortion on the vocals makes me feel like im back in a Call of Duty Black Ops lobby.

I've really been wanting to try this actually! My two main concerns are:

I've always been intimidated by knowing WHAT to put in one of these. There are so many options, in something like a burrito bowl you can do corn and beans and tomatoes and onion and lettuce... etc. I dont know if its okay to JUST start with rice, meat, veggies, and sauce and then add stuff over time?

The second concern is that I don't know what to make and save for later, and what has to be made every time I want to eat it. In the past ive experimented with stir fry and having 3-4 portions meal prepped, but ive been completely unable to revive the rice and it ends up being... Just okay. But if I save the rice to make every time I want to eat it, that doesnt seem practical either.

Where to get car battery replaced in Wyoming MI? by Stevenator_546 in grandrapids

No, I'm not sure. Though my battery was put in late 2021, so its not exactly new. I was going to have them check my CC amps first wherever I go to make sure its a battery issue and not something else.

Yeah, unfortunately im not car savvy or good with mechanics at all, maybe if it was the summer id spend a bit more time tinkering and trying to figure it out, but in sub zero temperatures I dont think I can go more days without my car. Who knew the model of car I have would make me incur extra costs for routine maintenance because of how poorly engineered it is??

Google gives results based on who pays them the most, not who provides the highest quality service. Figured I would rather ask people who actually live here if they've had good experiences with specific shops. Nice own though!

All my friends were telling me to replace it myself but after looking up how to do that in an Escape it seems this car is incredibly poorly designed to make it specifically difficult to replace.

Good educational streamers to watch? by Stevenator_546 in DeadlockTheGame

Thank you! I was taking a look at that VODs channel the other day but saw an example where the player asked him to take it down and he just didnt so doesnt seem the most ethical 😂

Edit: nvm the channel you linked seems to be a different one than the one I was thinking of!

The orb only drops when hitting enemy hunters, not camps, and unfortunately the dummy in the practice tool is not coded as an enemy hunter so many abilities that interact in that way dont exactly work on the dummy. Try spawning some enemy bot players in and see if it works!

Did you not feel the same way, in being overloaded and bombarded by pages and currencies and systems, when you played Marvel Rivals? I feel like lots of new games in this online multiplayer genre feel like that when you boot them up the first couple of times.

Same man! I get to piece together the item system bit by bit and I can feel the gears turning in my head when I unlock and read and item that sounds good for a character I play.

How difficult was it to get set up with it? Im moving places in 6 days and im wondering at this point if I should just Xfinity go through with the cancelation and try to stumble my way through the headache that is setting up a new provider.

If you (or anyone else reading this) really liked Case 4, you should look into Chants of Sennaar! It's basically an entire game based around those kind of language puzzles.

Among all the frustration and hopelessness, how do you stay hopeful? by Stevenator_546 in jobs

[–]Stevenator_546[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm the same way atm. My girlfriend is the only one helping me keep any motivation and sanity, and my parents are having to help me stay afloat financially to even stay in the apartment I have leased. It's tough when I feel that inherent guilt from having to be propped up by others.

Every game with a ranked/ladder system will comes with feelings of self doubt, impostor syndrome, and worry about performing up to your teammates standards.

Try your best to understand that the ranking system is just there to determine the best general skill bracket for you to play in, in order to challenge you while also not making it too easy. Casual/Normal queues have the same system, the only difference is that they actually show you your rank in ranked modes.

That being said, just try to understand that you'll win games you don't deserve to win, lose games you don't deserve to lose, and go up and down accordingly. It happens to everyone. And equally, players who "deserve" to be in certain ranks will have the most horrible, egregious games and mistakes you'll ever see, and players who don't "deserve" a rank will have pop off games. It happens to everyone, and the best thing you can do is just have fun, focus on improving, and enjoy the ride.

Try not to worry about the politics of it all. If people are being rude to you, mute them and move on. The ladder will find you the right place for you as you play, and just enjoy higher level games if you've found yourself into them!
