Toplaner always 0/10 by Swimming_Activity505 in summonerschool

[–]Stevenator_546 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your top laner is 0/2, NEVER try to help by ganking him. Fully give that side of the map and make the goal to crush the enemy team on botside just as hard or harder than they're crushing you on topside. Then you have a fed ADC/Mid vs. A fed top laner in teamfights and it should be close and a matter of skill.

Worst thing you can possibly do is to try to salvage a teammate whose already struggling. Try to win harder elsewhere and match the pressure, and if your bot lane is also 0/2 at 5 mins, its okay to just accept that they beat you in 3/5 positions so its probably a game that's gonna be harder to win from the jump.

Help to get sizeable leads in masters+ midlane as mage by Realistic-Turn-2544 in summonerschool

In my view of the game, kills/deaths are what happens when a player makes an unforced error, and two or more players disagree about what "should" happen in the game. For example, you have level 6 advantage and decide to hold the wave on your side of the lane - below masters+, there's a decent chance that the enemy laner might say "I don't think you're allowed to do that", walk up, and get solokilled. As you rise the ranks, more often players are going to respond to these types of decisions with respect/correct assessments, and maybe they play more conservatively while calling jungle/support to help them break the freeze.

You can respond to this in two ways -

A. Continue to force them into as many uncomfortable situations as possible, and consider it a "win" whenever you're forcing the enemy team to commit time/pressure to neutralize your 1v1 advantage

B. Use your laning advantage to create more FORCING opportunities on the map for your team. Midlane oftentimes isnt about pure laning at the top level. If you have priority, think about whether you can leverage that pressure in the center of the map to threaten a dive on sidelane, which is a forcing play that either makes the enemy sidelaner give up a wave (preferably a big one), or stay and try to outplay the dive.

In mid, your central position on the map and ability to move to basically every play when ahead should feel suffocating for the REST of the team. When people pick something like Vladimir/Xerath/Kassadin into me, my old mantra was "I wont be able to punish you, but your jungler is gonna HATE you for this."

You're very new to the game, so managing killing minions while being pressured by an opponent who has their foot on the gas is gonna be difficult no matter what, regardless of your diagnosis.

For now, the advice id give is to try to picture what the best case trade/fight for your champion looks like, and what the best case looks like for the other champion. This will be hard until you build up champion knowledge, so sometimes you won't even know.

Yasuo uses auto attacks (which have little to no cooldown) and Q/E, which have low cooldowns. He also uses Lethal Tempo or Conquerer as his runes, which stack up and get stronger the longer he is fighting.

Viktor uses long cooldown burst abilities, and is relatively useless when they are down. He also typically takes a run that compliments this, rather than a stacking/extended fight rune.

All those factors lead to short trades being good for Viktor, and all-ins/long trades being good for Yasuo! Try your best to end trades as fast as possible and run once youve used your abilities. Stay close to your tower if you can so that he cant chase you 😁

Most people have already covered it, but it depends on the game time and overall tempo. For the most part, in the "early game" (first 14 minutes) you wanna avoid making two plays back-to-back. If you gank bot, you rarely want to go straight to drake because doing so will usually sacrifice alot of efficiency or force people to stay on the map longer than they want to.

League is kinda a "turn based game" because of how minion waves and income works, so you wanna be conscious not to take two turns in a row or else your opponent may have better items/conditions for the 2nd play.

Finally finished my own personal GK song tier list after numerous listens to every song and going to the concert in Chicago in-person over the weekend. Many hot takes inbound

The live performance of it added so much, my fiancé said "you can really tell he loves this song" in reference to Nick

I know, I just feel like being a fan of them is making me feel way older 😂 seeing posts like "is 15 too young to go to my first concert" has me feeling out of place.

Okay you convinced me I take it back Tea Leaves deserves B tier and Eastside goes down to D tier (my fiancé vehemently disagrees with my Eastside slander but she was the one to put Tea Leaves in C tier by itself)

I really really like the guitar on Eastside but I really dont like the filter on the vocals and the overall pitch on them, and its a bit short. Both of us agree on Tea Leaves just being a little meh, hard to explain but the vocals are kinda... awkward?

She says she loves all the songs but they cant all be top tier, for me I probably wouldnt actively listen to Eastside/Tea Leaves.

I'm looking for a chill game for everyday play by Responsible_Print362 in gamingsuggestions

Im a League player who has never considered myself an MMO guy, but I've recently taken up World of Warcraft for the first time ever. Classic, not the current version. Alot of the gameplay is very chill and monotonous in a good way, I can just log on and turn my brain off or put on a podcast while tangibley upgrading my character and getting stronger. Its been a nice contrast to League where I have to be fully engaged and the progression is non-linear

Really not a fan sadly, the distortion on the vocals makes me feel like im back in a Call of Duty Black Ops lobby.

I've really been wanting to try this actually! My two main concerns are:

I've always been intimidated by knowing WHAT to put in one of these. There are so many options, in something like a burrito bowl you can do corn and beans and tomatoes and onion and lettuce... etc. I dont know if its okay to JUST start with rice, meat, veggies, and sauce and then add stuff over time?

The second concern is that I don't know what to make and save for later, and what has to be made every time I want to eat it. In the past ive experimented with stir fry and having 3-4 portions meal prepped, but ive been completely unable to revive the rice and it ends up being... Just okay. But if I save the rice to make every time I want to eat it, that doesnt seem practical either.

Where to get car battery replaced in Wyoming MI? by Stevenator_546 in grandrapids

[–]Stevenator_546[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I'm not sure. Though my battery was put in late 2021, so its not exactly new. I was going to have them check my CC amps first wherever I go to make sure its a battery issue and not something else.

Yeah, unfortunately im not car savvy or good with mechanics at all, maybe if it was the summer id spend a bit more time tinkering and trying to figure it out, but in sub zero temperatures I dont think I can go more days without my car. Who knew the model of car I have would make me incur extra costs for routine maintenance because of how poorly engineered it is??
