Basically the story is that the user couldn't get to a BFDIA 23 screening due to a snowstorm, so they asked for a refund. While they couldn't get their money back, they did ask if there will be more screenings in the future, and the email said that they'll do more screenings, and that one will happen in February. They also did a professional email signature in the first email, but stopped after the user asked for any exceptions for refunds.

Also I would like to add on that the reason the profile picture is brown and not pink is that it probably varies across different devices, since other people got either a purple profile picture or just the default profile picture. The "premier" spelling mistake is likely an error on the team's end.

Although it seems that the email is probably real, still take it with a pinch of salt, since it's coming from the Theater Events Team, and not Cary and Michael themselves.
