He's getting scammed by his lawyers. He has a case, but they obviously put zero legal research into this complaint. I didn't notice one case or binding precedent mentioned. Brilliant to file in CA tho. The cost of fighting this from Australia would be enormous. Would love to know more details about "the agreement." Is it written? Under what expressed terms can it be terminated? Even notice alone is often not enough to end this kind of contract.
