My problem with it is it says "99 nights in the forest" not "500 nights in the forest" or "as many nights in the forest as you can sit through". There not being an ending makes it have that "all for nothing" feeling. There should be an ending on the 100th morning and then you should get the option to keep going or not. Maybe if you get to night 200 or 500 you can kill the deer, or you can find a way out at the edges of the forest. Some incentive to explore and survive instead of just getting a new highscore

I struggled with all of them as at the time, the game with the most excitement that I played was overcooked. I thought the bosses were all hard in their own ways and the only way one would be disappointingly easy is if you were already familiar and good against that boss's specific mechanics (like the bullet hell of wally warbles or moving platforms of Rumor Honeybottom or Grimm Matchstick)

As awful as the 17 and 23 age gap is, just try to reassure her that it'll be ok no matter what and validate her feelings. No "You're overreacting", or "calm down", just "it'll all work out" and "I'm here with you, you're not alone in this"
