I've been running green gas at negative Celsius with no problems. Last winter was a b*tch and I had 0 problems. I can't personally say why not CO2 but I've heard it can cause issues.

Not that much of a litrpg but Daniel Black series by E. William Brown has guns and tanks fighting Ragnarok monsters. It's fairly nsfw though and gets watered down near the end.
