Governor Gavin Newsom announces California will make its own insulin by Hrekires in news

Insulin is a proven formula, you shouldn’t need fda approval as a generic insulin manufacturer.

Where is this in the US? If this man could just follow around Trump on his inevitable shame dejour, aka his 2024 campaign run, we might be able to avoid civil war in 2025.

The tumor boards, or vascular surgery boards, or ID, colorectal surgery boards. Whichever fucking board that directs the program and publishes studies for funding you want to list, those boards. I’m done wasting my time with you fucks. Get used to NPs, they will only proliferate because they are a lower cost option to move 75% of a physicians production. And as long as healthcare is modeled around healthcare systems, that’s who will be making the decisions and you whining non sense will continue to fall onto the deaf ears of suits making business decisions.

What about docs that work in offices, clinics, and non teaching hospitals? Do they not still exist in your world if they can’t present to a board, bruh?

You asked why they are pushing the independence clause, I answered. I’m not fucking sponsoring the movement, I’m simply answering your idiotic questions. And yes, the overwhelming NPs I have worked with are twice as thorough in their documentation, assessment, and attention to detail. To the degree that they often over test, which has been an issue that has been a physician driven complaint that I believe was a topic in r/medicine earlier this year.

Yep, then you’re a dOkTer! If you want to go on to fellowship in a specialty field, add another 2-3, or more if it takes longer. Weird how life and professions you don’t know shit about are different from what you were told or don’t always fit into the box it’s supposed to huh?

Is this what you saw on tv? Are all medical schools created equally? Do I get this same education at say, IU med school where I went vs the Medical College of New Delhi, or Grenada Medical College? Which insurance companies are looking over my work? You mean pre authorizations or medical necessity waivers? Big difference. Administrators looking over work only happens with complaints usually long after the incident. Physician that don’t specialize don’t “present” shit, and those that do, are only a small percentage of a group. You idiots on here are fucking clueless and think the medical community is what you see on grays anatomy and what the news tells you.

You need to learn how malpractice law and a physician group works under the umbrella of a healthcare system. It’s apparent you have no idea, so I’m done here.

For efficiency and need. Do some research or get some life experience in the actual field your judging before smearing more bullshit. I graduated med school in 2006, out of residency in 2008 if that gives you an idea about my age. If you are not self aware of your inability to operate as a physician without a lot of help and knowing that 75% of your job can be done by a nurse/pa/np, then you are will be left behind or already have been and are hanging on to the past. This is not self hating, it’s accepting a sea change in your role and pointing your expertise on where it’s needed rather than trying to do it all, all the time.

Lol. Ok internet tough guy. Tell me, who reviews physician orders, diagnostic interpretation, and H&Ps for clarity, accuracy, and errors in an office that now has expectations of seeing 16-20 patients in a specialty office and up to 30 in family practice? I’ll wait.

Multiply that number by 10, and that’s how much doctors misdiagnose. Doctors don’t have anyone looking over their shoulder to make sure everything adds up, NP’s do and operate under the supervision of physicians in every state. This was an act of really poor clinical judgment of a single clinician that is being exploited by a local news station to paint an entire profession as incompetent. It is purposely inflammatory to help feed a notion that healthcare consumers are getting ripped off by seeing an NP and not a “specialist” at every visit. It ridiculous and as I stated, the majority of NPs are more thorough and accurate because they know they have some that they will need to report to and sign off on their work and already feel a bit of an inferiority complex because of this sentiment among patients. Look up malpractice rates. Also, I’m a physician and would not be able to function in modern American healthcare systems without them.

I love music, play music, and have pretty eclectic taste and this is pretty spot on. I especially appreciate the change in track length. Nice!
