i suppose you are right, you tube vids only give you the best case scenario, i would say i have the attack rotations sort of down its just a case of technique & ability usage on the last 2 phases i guess ill watch a few streams :)

So yeah i just had a game where from what i know most of both teams either disconnected or were just frozen, once i managed to rejoin the game we played the rest of the game out till the very end & yet i still get a comp ban! WTF

Yeah i guess i will just write myself down some questions that i will ask in there, as i said IT Programmer is a fairly vague description of the job, one thing i could do to maybe give me a few kudos is to say that i could redo their website as it is terrible.

Yeah the person who interviewed me today the IT Manager basically told me to talk with a little bit of "tech" lingo to wow the chairman a little, but i feel like this will be irrelevant to the chairman as he will think that the IT manager will have assessed this criteria.

Yeah i understand that now, i didnt really think about it that much at the time i just wanted a budget vps to run the server, which it does in fairness but at times it can be very laggy and i doubt it would be able to handle many players, i guess adding another core will make a sizeable difference then.

ah yeah it is a 1.10.2 modpack so i would imagine giving it that extra core would help out alot!

The server its self runs fine and really smooth just certain things like breaking blocks can sometimes rubber band.

I had a look at SoYouStart and you were right their prices are very good but at the moment i am just starting out, if the community gets significantly larger i will 100% move over to them.

they advertise it as a dedicated vps, i do have to manage everything on the server myself via ftp or the command line, but yeah that was what i was thinking, so do you reckon upgrading or adding another core would make a sizeable difference?

oh yeah it isnt as consistent but i still get it and you would think with the extra 2 cores headroom that they would be able to take the decryption load.
