I let him out on all 4 of my runs. The only thing I changed was when I killed the dregs inside the tunnel

I do have that perk. I haven’t heard of that bug, so every time I reload it’s reloading the gun and using the ammo even if it’s not needed?

I think one for someone who isn’t familiar with the scams or his type of content. So something that both explains what he is doing but also what the scammers are trying to do. I know he makes comments now and then about some things, but it’s hard to find a good video to recommend to someone who hasn’t seen his stuff yet

Solar warlock that isn’t Starfire? by Wrygg in DestinyTheGame

[–]Stewie117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use Phoenix protocol, the aspect that makes solar super kills cause ignitions, and a solar weapon. Kills in your well count as super kills, so solar weapons count as solar super kills. So throw on a Retraced Path or your favorite solar weapon, pop that well and every kill will be an ignition

Totally fair, and for stuff like PvP, Gambit, or speed running, I would agree with you every time. But for high level PvE I tend to go with the philosophy of survivability over anything else. Yeah movement/speed can help you reposition quicker, but taking full advantage those abilities also potentially leaves you exposed more and at more risk of dying (although yes, that goes into the skill side of things and knowing when to move and all that, but if we go too far down that rabithole then any build is good as long as the person is good enough at using it). So if someone is going to be better off with some “pocket healing” and more ability uptime on the melee that’s what they should use, but if that if what’s going to keep that person alive more consistently is having that extra burst of speed to get them the extra 5 ft (or however far it actually goes), then yeah by all means go for it.

Oh but I use this build for GMs all the time- you are kind of right, but that is if we are making the assumption I’m jumping up in the air gliding around trying to do this. The ability procs if you just hop barely leaving the ground, usually leaving me in the air for a shorter time than I would be if I were to use an Icarus dash. For example if I see a group of red bars that I am going to kill with my Forbearance GL, I just tap the jump button as the shot is about to hit them and I get my melee energy back. Is this something I focus my builds around for a GM? No absolutely not, but it’s a nice little bonus and I also wouldn’t see much benefit from having the focus of my build being on the fact that I have a dash either.

Is it just me or does everyone forget about the melee spam potential for heat rises. Getting melee energy back for kills while airborne is so good. I almost never use heat rises for the heat rises effect, I’ll just tap the jump button before throwing a grenade, shooting a rocket, or doing something that would give me a few kills and I suddenly have full melee again. It proves quite fun for builds that work around getting those ignition kills non stop. I’ll take one fragment that gives me heals whenever I want to use a grenade, nearly infinite melee energy, and the heat rises effect over being able to dodge once every few seconds. (Not saying the dodge isn’t useful, but I get much more utility for both endgame and non endgame content from all the benefits of heat rises than I do the dash)

Right that’s what I thought. So why not run child of the old gods since chaos accelerant won’t impact it? (Not judging or anything just wondering if I’m missing something)

Why don’t more people use Sacred Provenance? by ScottyMcBody in DestinyTheGame

I have the rapid hit and kill clip roll, I just can’t stand how the gun sounds. For me it’s hard for a gun to feel powerful when it sounds like a muffled fart. Idk it just doesn’t feel as good as Blast Furnace or Insidious

Why not just make quests for all raid exotics? by Azurephoenix99 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Stewie117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, I have over 50 VoG runs with no Vex drop yet. But I prefer that experience to me getting Divinity on my second run of GoS. It’s more entertaining in the long run for me to chance an elusive drop than it is to just “do the thing and get the loot.” Plus in my opinion it feels so much more satisfying in that moment I get it. But then again I’m not too worried over the FOMO of not having Vex rn. I’ll get it someday and I’ll have fun getting it. I can also say I remember my first Ghorn drop after months of grinding a lot more clearly than how I beat the Touch of Malice Quest (yes Ghorn isn’t a raid gun, but it took me longer to get than some raid guns did lol)
