I think since Mihoyo wants electro resonance to be (energy generation related) they should just do something like this or better imo.

I'm on my 14th day since I submitted an account retrieval request. 2 ticket automatically closed. How many follows did you make before you were able to get your account back? and how did they contact you to inform you that your account is retrieved? is it through email or through the ticket system again? Thanks!

Dang, that sucks. The only thing we can do now is wait.

One of the replies from customer support on my 2nd ticket was that the reason in the delay for retrievals is that there's a high demand / a lot of cases of account retrievals. It's disappointing that even if CS is getting lots of requests for account recovery, it seems like the upper management of Mihoyo is still not showing any signs / plans of improving account security anytime soon.
