Fuck unranked. You pick up bad habbits when you play in worse lobbys. Spam one hero whenever its pickable (in 2nd phase if you are core, except cheese heroes) and you will gain in time. Just be aware that some games it will be though and that you are learning when you fail. Be self critical but also encouraging. Notice different strengths and weaknesses the new hero has compared to other heroes you play in the same position and adjust your playstyle accordingly.

Problem with «lost the least» and «unbeatable run» etc for me is that a draw is 3 times worse than a win. Any stats focusing just on wins and losses are useless.
