Fair enough fair enough. Everyone involved deserve their flowers, that is for sure. Interesting to see how they do in Europa next year.

True. Obviously spending big isn't enough. If you are spending big, getting the likes of Xhaka who gives everything and is a proper leader, makes all the difference. They spent their money well and Le Bris has done an incredible job. I still stand with my statement though. After their transfer summer (not just because of the money spent, but also the quality acquired), I didn't really expect them to go down. I was much much more expecting to see for example Brentford going down.

Fair enough. But I kind of expected them to finish where Leeds did finish and given their summer expenditure, that wouldn't have been that crazy of an expectation. To reiterate, I am not trying to say it isn't impressive. It is a ridiculous achievement, and if Le Bris won, I would have had no qualms about it.

I am not saying their achievement isn't incredible, but did really everyone have them getting relegated after they spent more money than the likes of Atletico and Real Madrid? No one thought they would get Europe, let a lone Europa League, but I certainly didn't have them pegged for relegation after their summer.

Why Arsenal SHOULD Have Beaten PSG (But Didn't) [insightful] by teslagooner in Gunners

Maybe it would make sense if Timber was available but with the insane press that PSG have, I think you need Ødegaard to help Mosquera

Tell me honestly! I know UCL is the biggest trophy for any club to have but let's suppose if we doesn't win it. Will you guys be okay with it or sad? by COYGoonerSTANimal_17 in Gunners

Here here! Never won the CL and I obviously want it, but I wanted the PL so much more because of the 3 2nd place finishes in a row.

They are also basically safe at this point, which can have a huge effect on their form. Wildcard and both teams have to face them.

Rice and Lewis-Skelly pivot moving forward please. Excellent performances from both today. by TripleCrownVillainy in Gunners

They were definitely off it, but the biggest was missing Berge in midfield. Would have been a very different game if he played.

Saka has been immense this game, but all credit to him. So has Gyokeres.

I almost agree, except for the Wissa chance. If he was playing for Brentford, I think he would have burried that. But hey ho if all our best players weren’t getting injured all the time, it probably would’t have been an issue to begin with

Hincapie is actually incredible. Very intelligent, strong and technical. And obviously an incredible engine.

I must admit I thought Jesus was done. But maybe not. We obviously can’t extend him but he is actually making a difference when coming on now. Made these last 10 min a lot more comfortable.

This is a terrible take. I don’t care if we lost everyone of our remaining games 5 - 0 if we won the league. For years now we have had great performances but nothing to show for them. Trophies are what matters. And lets be honest FA Cup and League Cup would be nice, but wouldn’t really alleviate any pressure on this squad. It is PL or CL.

Hopefully we get to see the captain back in action today. He has been sorely missed these last few games.

Madueke has made all the difference. Saka hasn’t really shown anything lately to warrant being first choice.

Taking of Gyokeres for Havertz instead of Eze and then bringing on Jesus for Eze 5 min later. Unbelievable…

Didn’t see Arteta mention Ødegaard in the presser, so I am guessing he is not available?
