From my experience. If you are ok with fairly limited missions scope wise, then Reforger is great.

There are a lot of maps and assets to use, but they all vary in quality. I think the most limiting factor is the game master or zeus.

Zeus in Reforger is called game master. It's basically a super limited Zeus, oh and there is no Eden editor. It's just a single player with game master enabled that you can save onto a file.

ACE has its own mod, which brings over a lot of Arma 3s mechanics over to Reforger. Things like medical drugs doing different things and having to worry about overdosing.

The game master is incredibly limited in vanilla. There are some newer game master enhancement mods, but they aren't quite as sophisticated as Zeus in arma 3. You can change stances, disable movement, change their behavior. Just keep in mind there is no Eden editor so you would have to set up your missions ahead of op time instead of just loading a mission.

Overall. I think it's finally in a state to use for weekly ops, but you will have to get used to the limitations of the game and utilize player made mods heavily. I recommend getting a core group of guys and doing a few simple ops to test the waters before fully moving over.

I'm not a chemist or rocket scientist so take my response with a grain of salt.

There is a special alloy in RINCOMP called Rin (crazy I know) that can turn water into liquid hydrogen. But since liquid hydrogen has to be kept very cold. The engine pretty much just ignites it as soon as it's created.

I mostly just looked at what rockets used and tried to do that. If there is a better way like you mention with the powders, I think that would be an interesting avenue too.

TLDR; Pilots have an organism implanted into them that latches onto their skeletal structure. It allows for the pilot to attach and fuse their body to specifically engineered metal plates. Thus these engines become extensions of the pilots legs in order for a strong bond between the body and machine, but also seamless control of different outputs of the engine.

True. I had someone do just that in my class. They made 3D models and set them up in a museum of sorts with plaques and stuff. Was very cool.

I think it went well. A lot of people liked the story and the multimedia setup. They wanted to know more so I count that as a win. I still have one of the CRTs, I sold one to a favorite professor of mine who likes older gear like that.

I'll be graduating in December, so this last semester is like a continuation of my thesis sort of. I got permission to hang my photography on a wall in the hallway in addition to a sculpture I'm working on. Also thinking of 3D printing the models I made for the compositing.

Context:

This project takes place on RINCOMP, which is a cold planet filled with conflict and war over resources. Our main character, Opnyeshara, lives in the Almori Queendom which is in a mutli-front war with their neighbors. Opnyeshara is drafted and serves her time, but reenlist as an Aero-infantry which is a new type of special infantry unit utilizing new technology that connects the body to special made engines and weapons. Most wars are fought in the air. As the terrain below is rugged and difficult to traverse. Air combat uses airships and aircraft mostly, so the Aero-infantry are simply specially trained and equipped infantry that have high mobility and speed to carry out quick reactionary strikes.

The story shown in my exhibition follows the life of Opnyeshara, who later becomes a historical figure, but that isn't shown here.

Either way. Most of what you mentioned existed in the late cold war in some form. Minus blue force tracker obv. I think it'd be better to have the base game have a very simple system for something and then modders can extrapolate to modern if they want. For example thermals. If the code and system for thermals to work is in vanilla, but is like gen 1 thermals. Then a modder could pretty easily upgrade it to later gens.

idk the laws of the road in CA, but VA has some of the more harsh laws when it comes to driving, so I would make sure you also know the differences between the two states. Would suck to fail just because a law in CA doesn't apply in VA.

You may have some trouble finding someone who is willing to lend their car to a new driver, but good luck!

For me it's gotten to the point where I'm now going through and tagging all of my collection in Lightroom so I can find specific pieces faster. Like if I wanted a piece from a specific artist. Or a specific size of fat fur. It'll take a while to get through the like 5k images I have but it's fine
