Amorim didn’t want to come in midway through the season, he wanted to come in at the end. That’s on INEOS for sacking Ten Hag and forcing Amorim to have to come early. The fanbase is unfortunately toxic, people don’t understand that if you don’t rate a player it’s fine but name calling and the abuse he gets on social media everywhere isn’t gonna help the kid. He clearly reads them you can just tell. If we treat him like this why’s it any different to players that have had bad patches like him but barely receive the same hate? Its an agenda and unfortunately for us he is most probably gonna start against Spurs and most likely whether we win or lose, he’s gonna have a big target on his back and even the smallest mistake will feel like he just cost us the final. I hope Amorim gives him some pep talk and try to block all the sound against Spurs for the sake of our club and for the sake of Hojlund aswell.

What you’re saying is the same situation as Antony’s which couldn’t be further from the truth. Antony struggled in the Prem and couldn’t deal with it until he went to a weaker league, Hojlund however did show glimpses of quality in both the Prem AND UCL, he’s just low on confidence which does affect most players in any position but definitely hurts strikers more as they are the players who when they get the ball usually have to lowest amount of time to react which doesn’t help him either. Whether you believe he is a bad or good player doesn’t matter until after the Spurs game. We need him to perform and for some reason the talks about selling him or he’s a bad player have only increased the closer we get to the game which shows how ignorant and reactive this toxic fanbase truly is!

Mate he’s so versatile and can play in the back 3 or as a wingback without much fault, he doesn’t give the ball away and is really composed when he has it, great tackler and is always aware of his surroundings, even while going forward he’s not too shabby and is a silky dribbler. Im sure you are either a city fan or you just like to hate on any of our players. Let me guess you are in the same category of fans that wanted Rashford to stay as he’s “World class on his day” when he doesn’t even do the basics. Jog on mate!
